background: Biological process: M phase of mitotic cell cycle. There are two isoforms. Subcellular Location: Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, centrosome,centriole. Golgi apparatus membrane; Peripheral membrane protein(Probable). Note=Localizes to the distal and proximal end ofcentriole pairs in duplicated centrosomes. In ciliated cells,localizes to the distal and proximal end of daughter centriole andproximal of the mother centriole but not in the distal end of themother centriole. Post-translational modifications: Phosphorylated in M (mitotic) phase.
